Accuracy of a printed part in PLA achieved on MK3S
Hi,
I recently purchased a MK3S to replace my previous printer Skriware 2.
I'm extremely satisfied by the results compare to all prints done with my previous 3d printer.
Default settings 0.15 Quality MK3 has been used with gyroïd infill @15%
I was curious to see what exactly I obtained on a cylindrical part with ISO thread and some typical features.
Below the results
According to the results I will try to adjust the linearity of my 3d printer.

That's a lot of work to find the printer weaknesses. Very interesting.
With steppers, you can adjust X and Y scale, really can't alter the linearity. And short of overall length, most of the features that are failing are determined by the slicer settings.
Be aware belt stretch affects scale, so adjusting belt tension after calibration affects size accuracy; and layer height can affect accuracy: both by the finite layer step resolution and variability in layer 1 adjustment (Live-Z).
