Re: 9 days without commit on GitHub - I feel something big is acoming
Thanks edward.c6,
The new firmware seems to have solved this for me on the prebuilt mk3. I'm flashing my other one as I write this. For PET i always use Blue tape actually. Sometimes PET sticks to much. But I'm certain it was the pinda temp compensation issue, I was having.
Prusa MK3 preassembled (R2/B6) > (R3/B/7)
Prusa MK2.5 kit > MK3 > MK3+MMU2 (R3/B/7) 😀

I'm happy to hear you're up and running.
Re: 9 days without commit on GitHub - I feel something big is acoming
The new firmware disables temperature compensation for new printers.
Then the pinda works as good as the MK2S pinda.
Could then try the automatic temp calibration or do a manual print based calibration (as I have described ) with the help of both new gcodes.
Automatic does not yield good results for me
Re: 9 days without commit on GitHub - I feel something big is acoming
Am I the only one who's priming line moved after upgrading the firmware? It used to be about 3mm closer to the edge than it is after the update. For reference after updating the firmware the priming line now falls directly on the frontmost black line of the grid...

I noticed that too, i thought i was going mad but clearly im not lol
Re: 9 days without commit on GitHub - I feel something big is acoming
Have you done any new XYZ calibration? I can not see this problem, so a calibration can correct the problem.

I did a full factory reset with the firmware update... I wonder why you don't have it and I do... I may go back to 3.1.3 with LA as printing seems a little worse for me.
Re: 9 days without commit on GitHub - I feel something big is acoming
Edward, I apologize for being wrong. I was 100% sure that the printout was correct, but the entire printout is offset about 5 mm.
This has to be a bug.

That's exactly what I'm seeing...
Re: 9 days without commit on GitHub - I feel something big is acoming
I opened an issue about the shift in y direction. I have that too...
Re: 9 days without commit on GitHub - I feel something big is acoming
hopefully 3.2.0 rc2 will be release quickly to resolve the new issues

My priming line has not moved since installing the RC firmware. I have not done any kinds of calibrations since installing it and when I do a M861 ? it returns all zeroes.
Sorry for the shadow in the photo but you can see that the priming line is still in the same place.

Hi, there. I just wonder what type of soft kitchen scrubber is proper for cleaning and won't cause damage. I know that I can't use coarse and stiff scrubbers. Is there any scotch brite type to recommend?
Re: 9 days without commit on GitHub - I feel something big is acoming
I would think the blue "non-scratch" Scotch Brite kitchen pads would be safe.

That's what I've been using for a couple of months now. The longer I use it the more pressure I use but recommend going easy to start. FWIW, I've only used acetone on my sheet once early on and feel it's didn't clean as well as dish soap and blue scotch brite.
