1st 3d printer?

Hello

I'm planning to get my 1st 3d printer,  and thinking about MK3S to mainly print structural components from nylon (gears, mounts, enclosures and fixings for various transducers.. some that sit in the elements against rain/wind/sun), prototyping, mold making (for sand casting aluminium or steel) and to have fun with PLA/PETG/HIPS maybe PC/PP/PEEK if is doable at all.

I know the MK3S has e3d v6 all metal hotend, and plan to get a hardened steel like NozzleX at 0.6mm (for more speed and strength). I know i should make an enclosure to the printer for nylon and ABS (and keep the PSU and electronics as possible out of it).

My question is: How well can an MK3S print nylon with hardned steel 0.6mm? Should i get a volcano or supervolcano hotend (the flow is increased with larger nozzle and also hardned steel is not as conductive)? Is volcano hotend compatible with mk3s?

I have to get an order for the printer and i should also add any consumables and accesories i might need and don't know what to get to get the best shot at printing structual pieces with nylon.

I am an engineer, work in reasearch at uni, and teach CAD/CAE programs (CATIA V5 mainly but also Inventor, Ansys, Adams). A 3d printer is something i've been wanting to tinker with for a long time and the workplace just granted me 1100euros to get what i need. So I've eyeballed the mk3s should fit my bill and a dozen of filaments to experiment with and a few hardned nozzles to experiment, maybe a rasberypi. But should I also get a 3ds volcano hotend to print at 280-300 degrees in nylon and such? Is it easly mounted /configured on mk3s? I'd need some info.

I'd rather get something that works with minimum hassle for start. I had in mind some CR-10 and similar but all need loads of upgrades and some are hard to imprement (electronics, firmware, etc).. so i've looked at this mk3s since it already has all what I need from my 1st printer and is regarded as one of the best quality printers in this class out of the box. I value good components and good support more than the pricetag of china printers. You get what you pay for. So i'm inclined to buy the mk3s.

Any thoughts about what should I get?
