Zaxis problems
my first big print was going well until the thread broke from the spool mid print. when i cleared the platform of the print and when i went to print something else, during the 9 point calibration it came up with bed leveling failed and the nozzle appears to have made a small indentation on the printing platform. When i tried to re calibrate the xyz the nozzle caught to the paper and i shut it down before any damage. Any help would be appreciated.
Re: Zaxis problems
Maybe I'm wrong. But I understood catching the paper was also storing a benchmark that is used to fine tune the next calibration attempt. When I get paper stuck moving I just run the same XYZ calibration again and not the wizard because I think the wizard blows out the stored value where it failed last time.
Re: Zaxis problems
You should lower the PINDA a little bit.
Release the screw in the PINDA bracket and turn the PINDA clockwise half a turn (= 0.5 mm lower). Tighten the screw in the bracket and make a new calibration.
