Z-Axis Wailing noise

Only my 3rd or 4th print but this one seems to have a wailing noise when the bed is moving in the Z-Axis, not all the time though and its much louder than all the other noises the printer makes. Is this an easy fix? It's in Stealth mode

Do you mean the z axis, because the x and y are moving.

Think noise is because the line the printer is moving is not straight, the x and y are moving together.( I think).

If you want to get less noise, I personally change speeds settings in every print, the more then 120, I set to 120.

The infill is also sometimes 80, if you reduce these it could help.

Maybe first check if the noise is not coming through the desk the printer is standing on, it can make the noise louder, put a big flat tile (or more then one) under the printer.

Yes sorry I mean Y-Axis, so used to Y being vertical upwards from 3D packages. I lived with the noise for that print, I am on another one now and its pretty much quiet again, maybe a perfect storm of movements that caused some kind of resonance?

I'll have a look at my speeds, much thanks

Do not forget to put oils on rods every few roll that you print.

Clean rods first, then put shin oil on  rod, then they keep sliding.

If you are going to use oil for lubricant, the mantra should be Little and Often.

Oil tends to drain to the bottom of the bearing housing, and if there is too much, it can drip out , which is not good for the buildplate in particular

Applying frequently, keeps the bearings at the top, lubricated as well.
wiping the rails before applying fresh lubricant, removes dust and excess lubricant build up.

Please also be aware that some lubricants react together, so please try and use only the same type of lubricant on your printer.
