Y Axis Error

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, since it's not my first print. This printer has been printing beautifully for two weeks (it's brand new), but today, it suddenly started getting Y axis errors. I'm trying to put it through the calibration wizard and it gets stuck on the Y. The motor is acting like it doesn't want to stop when it hits full travel. Anybody have any idea what to look for? I'm not having any luck browsing through troubleshooting. Thanks in advance.

RE: Y Axis Error

Hi punkindrublik

Did you lubricate the linear bearings during assembly?

If not, I would consider doing it now

https://help.prusa3d.com/en/guide/maintenance-tips_23200

the printer uses  the stepper driver parameters to identify the ends of the X and Y axis, by moving the axis until the motor stalls ans considering that the end of travel, however if there is too much friction, or the axis does not move freely, the printer can sense a false end of travel position.

I believe this is what is happening to your printer,

@joantabb

Sorry, I thought I closed this before it went live. It was just something stupid of course, lol. My Y pulley on the motor was loose.

Anyway, all figured out. Thanks for the reply!
