XYZ Calibration Failed Please consult the manual
Hi.
I have recently built a MK3S+ and I have come to calibrate it and it says “ XYZ Calibration Failed Please consult the manual “ . I have checked the belts and X is 248 and Y is 265 , I have also checked the Pinder several times with no joy , also I have checked the level of the frame with my Digital Level Box I have put it along the top frame “ top right is 0.4 and the top left is 0.4” the heat bed is 0.3 front/ back and the right side is 0.1 and the left side is 0.0.
Can anyone please give me advice on the above and what next to try.
Thanks
RE: XYZ Calibration Failed Please consult the manual
Hello smudge,
I am also new and had some issues with the XYZ calibration today.
Personally my X axis length calibration failed because one of the zip ties (of the 5 zip ties that tie the main extruder cables) was touching the Prusa metal frame which is not supposed to - I turned all 3 upper zip ties to upward position in order for it not to touch the frame.
I also leave a link to a previous post / thread that I found useful:

Hope this helps!

Do all the axis move all the way? Do the printed parts of the x axis hit the top when the printer start the calibration by moving all the way to the top.
When the zip ties at the back are placed in the wrong orientation the can hit the frame and the calibration will fail.
Mounting the leadscrew nuts up side down will cause a fail too.
Check for free movement of all axis.
Or post some pictures of your printer (front and back) and maybe we can see something.

For MK3S+, you'll need to update the firmware (3.9.2) cause of the super pinda.
MK3S(MMU2S), MK3S(Single), Fusion 360, Blender (débutant), Openscad

I had the same issue just a moment ago.
I tidy the left fan and extruder cables and now it's Self Test OK 🤠
Hopefully you get it sorted soon @smudge
