XYZ Calibration
just fished building my printer and running the XYZ calibration. First point works fine. Second point gets about halfway through then drags the paper. tried to lower the PINDA (not easy) and still the same after about four attempts.
Can't be this difficult?
RE: XYZ Calibration
It shouldn't be hard, although it can be frustrating. First check would be the probe height again. It shouldn't be hard to adjust if it is check it's on correctly. Next check all the heated bed fixings are below the surface of the bed just in case ones not quite right. Next try spinning the plate so it's on back to front just to see if the plate has a high spot. If you can post a picture of the nozzle/probe that would help us see if there's an issue with the fitting.

Will check this again when I get more time and enthusiasm for it ☹️ . As you say shouldn't be hard and especially when it picks up the first point fine. I checked the plate and it's flat. Measured all the spacers, they're fine. All screws sit below the plate face. One thing I note is that the PINDA is off the edge of the plate when checking the second point 🤔
Maybe I need to set the paper to overhang?
Beginning to wish I had bought it ready assembled ....
RE: XYZ Calibration
update - took the PINDA out completely, popped it back in on top of a ty-wrap., tightened it up. Ran the calibration again using a sheet of paper that overlapped the edges ... straight through. ?!

The PINDA should not be off the edge of the bed if it all assembled right. It need to be over the bed at all points to work. May be post a picture of the printer?

@3delight
its working fine now. no idea if it was just refitting the PINDA or letting the calibration run with oversize paper but printed off a few of the examples on the SD card and its now chugging away with one of my own models.
I was just a little bit miffed that it was fine on the first corner and then failed on the second. checked and checked again and i couldnt see anything. Popping it out was a last gasp go..... and it worked 🙂
