What to do after your very first print (maintenance)

Hi,

As I'm writing this, I'm finishing my very very first 3d printed object ever! whoohoo!
But... I'm a little lost...

I can't seem to find proper info on what to do with your 3dprinter after you've completed your first print.
For example:
- do I leave the filament in?
- Is it OK to leave the printer on for a long time if it's not printing.
- are there any general maintenance tips&trick a newbie should absolutely know to keep his printer in good shape? (not so much problem solver oriented, but more of a good hygiene regarding 3d printing)

Maybe I’ve accidentally skipped this section in the manual? But it most def. would be a good addition to it, should it not be there.

Thanks!

In my case
Pla and petg stay on the extruder
Abs and asa never goes in the printer because the fumes irritate my chest

Pva. Bvoh. nylon. Polycarbonate are uunloaded and packed in sealed containers with silica gel pouches

Tpu should probably be unloaded and sealed with silica gell pouch. But i tend to leave it in the printer...
