Weird sound from printer.

So this is my second printer, first Pursa.  I have printed 3 objects so far and they are amazing.  Needless to say when printing (even on the first few layers) I get this squeak.  Is this normal?

I know no one has had a chance to weigh in yet, due to my post needing approval (i assume because this is my first post) but I believe it is the spring on the screw that holds the idler door shut or the idler itself.  At least that's where I think the sound is coming from.

needless to say, prints right now are looking near perfection, should I tighten it?

If you mean the squeaking sound while retraction, it's the gear inside the idler. I didn't have this in the beginning then adapted something and I got this squeaking. Just play around with the tightness of the screws. That's what worked for me at least.

Make sure the rod in the door is still centered in both ears. It causes squeaking if it is not.

Also - there are instructions on the Bondtech site that say the bearings provided with the gear set are to be lubricated before installation.

Bondtech Filament Drive Gears

A Lithium based grease is recommended to use on the gear section and inside the needle bearings for low friction and to avoid wear. A small dab of grease is enough.

So I opened the door checked the alignment....Looks good

put the tension screw back in but did not set it as tight as it was last time.

Before: Just about a full rotation past flush

Now: Just about a quarter rotation past flush

Thank you guys for the help sound is gone now.  Hopefully, I didn't cause any damage.  I prolly printed about 50 hours or so before the fix.
