Weird layer misalignments

Hey there, so I get weird semi shifts on my new mk3s.

I already tightend the belts and the pulley of the xaxis motor, but it only got me slightly better results. Running normal mode instead of stealth makes them look a bit better.

Well to be honest I do not know what is causing that issue. It arent exactly layer shifts, more like weird layer inaccuracies which the printer fixes. My guess is that the printer is trying to fix an uneven bed? I'm using the textured sheet btw

I'm thankful for any ideas. Cheers!

Most likely cause is the pully grub screws are not tightened against the flat of the motor shaft.  This allows the pully to rotate slightly on the motor.  As the screw gets looser the movement gets worse until its so loose the motor can turn but the pulley doesn't.

They have to be tightened in sequence, against the flat first *and must be completely flat and not at a slight angle to the motor flat), and once that one is secured the second screw is tightened, this is the 'jam' or set screw.  They work together to ensure it doesn't come loose when done properly.

Another reason may be that your Z level is a little too high. It can be seen that the filament strings are not laterally connected. You should also wash the bed with detergent and warm water (wipe with paper), as the filament will stick better to the bed.

I got my printer for a week now, so i'm a complete noob. Yet, after my first assembly i kind of had the problem that the first looked different on different parts of the bed (thats also Z-Level issue). Adjusting the Bed level on the side where the first layer didn't stick and squish properly solved that problem for me. Your image kind of indicates the same issue.

Thats the Guide for that: https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/bed-level-correction_2267
