VXB Bearings
Can I use, and is there a benefit to using the VXB Brand 8mm Self Lubricant Graphite Brass Linear Motion Bearing LM8UU Type: Linear Motion Brass Self Lubricant Graphite Ball Bushing Material: Brass Size: 8mmx15mmx24mm
They look like they would be better as to orientation, but I don't know if this is something that has been tried and found to be useless or not.
RE: VXB Bearings
I ordered some IGUS ( https://www.igus.eu/product/990 ), but then I read this article https://prusacommunity.com/set-your-bearing-straight/ . So I didnt install them. No idea how yours compare to the low friction IGUS. They look like they might have more friction than the IGUS.
Maybe is a data sheet available with friction values for comparison?

Does this give you any information?
- Coefficient for Linear Expansion: 1.9x10-5/C
RE: VXB Bearings
Unfortunately I do not know what those numbers mean. But I'm pretty sure they exist and hopefully a more technical inclined person can clarify those numbers for us.
RE: VXB Bearings
IGUS works fine. You have to watch how tight you tighten screws or you will impede smooth motion.

I will give them a try despite what the article says then. Having to disassemble the printer for maintenance regularly is the one I really dreaded.

@ferly
If either of you has good or bad results, please post an update. I like having options.
