RE: Unload filament, load filament loop

Just like most of you I had the same problem. And ill be the first to admit i did a horrible job of reading the instructions. But the picture does show it in the top plug but the BOLD capitalized letters do say to use the bottom

@oliver-a5

Is it when you looking at the front of your printer?

I had the same problem. My IR sensor cable was plugged into the top row of the connector, instead of the bottom row. Once I figured that out, it worked fine. I'm not sure why they allow you to plug it into the wrong row in the first place.

Another cause of this issue: I'm trying to print Nylon from trimmer line with a diameter of only 1,4mm (this is what I had lying around). This seems to be too low and triggers the filament sensor. Just disable it.

RE: Unload filament, load filament loop

I discovered that I put the IR cable in backwards into RAMBo board: the red and black wire should be to the right; I had them to the left.

I did the same thing, quick flip and the load/unload loop is solved.
