Unable to get past language selection
Hello,
I have an Original Prusa i3 MK3, which I have built from the kit. The build seemed to go smoothly. Now I have turned it on and I am hoping to follow the calibration wizard.
The display gives me the choice of languages and I push the button for "English", then "Original Prusa i3 Prusa Research" comes on the screen and the fan on the extruder runs for about 5 seconds, then I'm shown the language selection screen again. This happens after repeated re-starts and it happens whether or not the HD card is inserted.
Any suggestions on what to check next?

I think you may be pressing the “X” reset instead of pressing the knob to make a selection!

Never fear, this is still a problem for new users today...slowly raises hand.

This rite of passage has been a challenge since the Mk2, to my belief....
I also fell foul of the option to press the wrong button
on the Mk4 they have written RESET on the button!... I Wonder why!?
