Troubles with first layer live Z height

Testing Protocol:
I am printing the first layer of 9 squares on my printer, using live adjust between each to narrow down which is working the best.
I am preheating my probe before each mesh level ahead of each print.

The issue I've run into are:

after I have the range narrowed down to -0.700 -- -0.800 I have multiple squares which look good, and some that dont, with little rhyme or reason between them.

The main issue I seem to keep running into is, if the lines are blended nicely (not squishing up excess) then I am tending to have little holes on the inside of the perimeter.

I've got about 36 little one layer squares piling up as I try to get this right, but am having variation, even across the same live Z value in different tests.

--> Live Z is instant, even on a first layer of an actual print, right?

LIve Z values are in -mm right?

THe issue with the holes around the edges, is that related to the linear advance K value stuff?

Re: Troubles with first layer live Z height

MAHAHAHA, I've found a probably cause.

The cause for my issues. The Kapton tape installed on the headbed was overlapping with the spacer, causing the middle of my bed to be (kapton tape thickness) too tall.

Will update as I go.

Here's some other news.

My build plate is far from flat:

Here's what I meant about the kapton tape under the spacer:

Currently using the "Manually adjust bed calibration funtion.
Left -50um (max)
RIght 0
Front 10
Back 0

ANd getting relatively stable prints now.
Skew still shows 0.02
and I'm still preheating the probe before starting.
Finally. I have the symbol swap mod in place per: Switched the - to a +
