Torque amount on Mk3 Frame
Hello,
The manual calls for 4.5n.m torque for putting the MK3 frame together.
Will a 5n.m torque wrench strip the threads in the aluminum extrusions?

that would put you just over10% over torque. it may well strip aluminium... which would be difficult to recover from...
I have to say, I didn't have a torque wrench, so my printer is probably way off spec... but it still works.
I used a short grip on the allen wrench, to prevent too much torque. highly unscientific!
