My wife and I have ZERO mechanical experience or training at all but we were able to build our MK3S+ without problems as we found the manual to be excellent. As long as you take your time, don't get frustrated, take breaks, and follow the instructions carefully you should not have any problems. Also apply a little bit of common sense, take breaks (we did it over 2 days), and NEVER... EVER miss out on a Haribo Step.... they are VITAL! 😀 🤣

Sadly extruding plastic is the easy part, precision axis setup and control is what gives you good parts. On another note, everybody here has had more than one mess like yours. I’ve been doing this for 3+ years and just had one with a new material a couple days ago.

I really think it is appropriate to say "If I couldn't get it to work after monthsand neither could the ITs I asked for help, maybe it is too hard, I would like to offer some high-value bit of professional advice might be, "Get bitten by the UX bug." PrusaSlicer compared to Cura for slicing UI shows one of the syndromes of the Emerac metaphor.*
I'm trying to offer helpful advice. Things that would take enormous and precise horsepower under the hood to also be drivable by ordinary mortals.

Whenever we are forced to used any of Microsoft's new applications, we cannot help but think of the 1957 comedy, "Desk Set", starring Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn. Tracy played an efficiency expert with the unwelcome task of replacing the research department staff at a large corporation with a computer named "EMERAC". In an effort to engender maximum audience distaste for the computer, EMERAC was portrayed as a wall-sized panel of blinking lights, alarms, bells and whistles.
In evaluating interfaces, we now use the term The EMERAC Metaphor to refer to useless features that only serve to distract the user from the particular task at hand. As is amply demonstrated in the images above, Microsoft has made the EMERAC metaphor a central design theme in their applications. Such features provide absolutely no benefit for the user, and are only used to make the program look different, and perhaps, as a means of showing off one's programming abilities.
By now, you've probably scrolled the page down to hide the above animations. This should be a good indication that the EMERAC metaphor is not something worthy of emulation. Instead, we would recommend that you strive to employ the KISS Metaphor (Keep it Simple, Stupid). Your users will thank you.

The vast majority of people have little to no problem either assembling the printer or using PrusaSlicer. I would recommend that you read the PrusaSlicer guide https://help.prusa3d.com/en/category/prusaslicer_204 , get the free e-book here: https://www.prusa3d.com/page/basics-of-3d-printing-with-josef-prusa_490/ but most of all just play about with the settings. If after all of that, getting help on these forums, and experimenting you still can't get it to work then you may have to face the fact that 3D printing in it's current development stage is not for you.
It is not a 'plug-and-play' hobby yet, it requires tinkering, experimenting, and lots of patience, and will do for a while yet. Getting a spaghetti monster happens to everyone at some point, often more than once.
This topic is getting very off topic (no pun intended) so I'm going to close it. If you have specific problems post them in the appropriate section and fellow users will attempt to answer them.
Oh and remember Prusa staff very rarely if ever come on this forum as it is a User-To-User forum. We moderators are not employed by Prusa. So virtually nothing on here will get back to Prusa in general.
