strange noise and instability

hello, I have just assembled the printer and I hear a strange noise during printing it is like some kind of vibration or similar and it is coming either from the bed or from the extruder (i do not know). The printer is working fine (do not judge the yoda because is forgot to turn on the support but the quality is still good enough)

here is the sound:

I tried to locate the source of the sound and i found out that the bed is not absolutely stable but it is moving a little bit at the bearings. If i move it to the right and left it is moving slightly.

so guys do you have any idea about what that strange sound is? and how can i eliminate it

thank you in advance

Hallo and welcome in Prusaforum!

I would check the linear bearings and the rods for damage. Are the rods parallel to each other and are the bearings not too loose or too tightly attached to the U-bolts? Did you lubricate the bearings? Are all screws otherwise properly tightened?

@karl-herbert

thx for the reply

 the printer is brand new and i see no issue with the mentined components. All the fasteners are fastened. rods are ok. so bearings is my guesss as well. I ordered a set from prusa and I will replace them

just for my curiosity. I understand why a loose U bolt can be an issue and do this type of resonance but how a tight one can cause the resonance?

About lubrication: I did not lubricate it because in the manual they said that it was ok like this but i lubricated it now and the issue still exists

If the U-bolts are tightened too much, the bearings can sometimes run very rough. Whatever Prusa writes, I would still supply the bearings with some grease or oil.
Did you also check the bearings on the extruder? - do not tighten the screws on the back too tight or too loose.
Also the ready assembled printers delivered from the Prusa factory sometimes do not run faultlessly. Experience shows that the error rate is higher when assembling the kit.

good luck!
