Strange layer shifting on big/tall prints only
About a month ago I assembled MK3S+ kit trying to be as precise as possible following the instructions.
But when I am printing big or tall items, I always get a weird one or rarely two layer shifts. They are always in the Y axis (my understanding is this means caused by the X motor/belt) and always on the left side of the print.
I have tried tightening the grub screws on pulleys. Belt seems aligned with rods. Belt tension is supposedly right, checked both with printed tension tool and through menu Calibration->Belt test.
But I still get this shifting. What might be the problem?

So I'm not saying this is your problem but I had same issues after days with support it came down to maybe faulty einsy board if you do belt test watch it closely does y or x axis stutter slightly this was my problem I tried everything to solve it to no avail try lube bearings but try belt test first to see if it stutters

This looks like partial loss of adhesion on one side of the print sheet. A picture of the bottom of a failed print should confirm it. Also lubricate your smooth rods, it won't hurt and might help.

Here is the bottom of the item. Ignore the edges, I messed up the supports there as it is curved.

Yes, that would print better as a chamfer.
The picture isn't as useful as I hoped, pale filaments can be tricky. I would try a really thorough clean of the print sheet and lubricate the smooth rods.

Thank you for the help and quick replies.
When you say lubricate the rod, do you mean just lubing directly the metal rods, or somehow insert the lube inside the bearings (which will require disassembling parts)?
And what should I use for lubing? Do you think silicone spray for MTB forks will be suitable? Or maybe a teflon grease for bicycle hubs, etc.?

Absolutely do not use silicone spray,
this will eventually release silicone particles that will get all over the printer.
Also on the print bed resulting in poor adhesion.
The silicone particles cannot be easily removed from the bed.
Use bearing grease, three-in-one oil or oil with Teflon additive.
You should have a small tube of Prusa's lithium grease in the kit...? Just the tiniest dab, barely enough to see, on each rod is enough. If not put a drop of light machine oil on a paper towel and wipe it on.
