Step 30 Inserting the Nylon Filament
When I use the smallest Allen key to ensure there are no obstacles, there ARE obstacles... how should I proceed? How far should the Allen Key insert?

IIRC (and I may not 😳 ) I was able to insert the Allen Key at least 1cm±
If yours is obstructed, you might try opening it up with a small (smaller than the diameter of the nylon filament) drill bit. A thin awl or heavy paper clip might work as well. It should be a tight friction fit, taking some effort to twist the filament into the hole. I recommend reading the comments from other kit builders in the online version.
In fact, we had the online version on a laptop during the whole build. The comments at each step were helpful (thought it took a little longer reading them all) and the pictures were much better, as you can enlarge them considerably from the hardcopy version. 😉 We felt a lot more confident in our build that way.
