Spare parts

Trying to assemble my first Mk3 and I got as far as assembling the extruder. When I started routing the x axis belt I realised I had somehow forgotten to insert the 623h bearing into the x axis idler. I had to disassemble the z axis to insert it. When trying to reassemble the z axis the  screws that attach the z axis bottom left and right printed parts to the metal frame just spin. Clearly they didnt like being screwed, unscrewed and rescrewed and the holes have enlarged. Can I order spares of these parts or does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks.

RE: Spare parts

Hard to believe you damaged the holes in the frame.

When you put the screws in the printed parts, do they stick out far enough to go all the way into the frame?

Try new screws from your spares pack. These may be undersize or too short.

Only far more drastic thing I can think of is drill your parts and frame for M4 screws. Don't even consider that unless you are sure the frame holes are damaged.

RE: Spare parts

Thanks very much. Foolishly I was attempting to screw from the frame intothe plastic rather than the other way round! All sorted now.
