Simplify3D Problems
Hi all,
i have some Trouble printing with Simplify3D and in don't know how to fix it because I'm new in 3d printing. I am working since some days to fix ist but i have no luck with it. The Printer calibration is completed and looking all Right ( i think). The print start is Looking good but after time it's going worse.
Because Images saying more than words i've uploaded some Images of the printing result, the 1 st. Level calibration and Simplify3d Settings in hope that someone could tell me what i've doing wrong.
Thx foward
Re: Simplify3D Problems
Hi,
The two detached bits at the bottom of the pic looked like the adhesion is not good enough. Did you put some adhesion medium (spray, glue ?).
Could you please add more details about the settings ? Nozzle diameter, layer height, support, etc.. And about materials ?
Thanks
Re: Simplify3D Problems
Hi,
i've cleaned the bed with Isopropanol and using PRUSA PLA Filament 1,75 Silver.
I've made screenshots from all Settings seen here: https://imgur.com/a/j9ZfqxX
THX forward
Re: Simplify3D Problems
oh yes sorry, all the pics were not loaded !
It's a thing to clean the buildplate, but you need to add adhesion ! https://www.3dlac.com/ or https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/accessories/51-printbed-glue.html . But you need this.
And apart from that I cannot see a real problem (but I may not be that experienced). Maybe adjusting extrusion multiplier to 0.97 to avoid this overall "overextrusion" ?
Re: Simplify3D Problems
Hi,
"oooh" now i know for what this glue roller is https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/accessories/51-printbed-glue.html
It seems to be stupid but the language written on the roller is not in english and i asked myself for what it is… now i know it 🙂
I will test it out directly.. thx
Re: Simplify3D Problems
No problem ! I do prefer the 3DLac though because the glue tends to make a bad first layer finish (it's very hard to apply it evenly...). And one bottle lasts hundred of hours of prints so the cost is not that a problem
