Settings for MK3S?
I upgraded my printer to the MK3S extruder and downloaded PrusaSlicer. In the dropdown menus, under "Printer" I see MK3S, but under "Settings" there is only MK3. Does this matter? Are the settings the same?
I'm asking because I'm having problems with my prints. I'm printing a part with a hole in the side for a screw. When it gets to the hole, it always jams/stops printing. I'm also seeing "stringing," which makes me think it could be a problem with the settings.
Are there separate MK3S Sli3r settings, or are they the same as the MK3?
RE: Settings for MK3S?
I would reinstall PrusaSlicer 2.0.0.
Part of the install process - you select which printer you have. MK3S is one of the choices.
It shows up in the Printer dropdown as well as on the Printer Settings tab.
Not that I know of any differences between the MK3 and MK3S settings. There might be some.
RE: Settings for MK3S?
I already did this. I selected MK3S as my printer and made sure nothing else was checked. The dropdown menu still only shows MK3 under settings
RE: Settings for MK3S?
Here is what my Settings page looks like.
RE: Settings for MK3S?
You did run the configuration wizard and selected the MK3S - right?
But wait: here's your settings page showing the MK3S plain and clear. I'm confused.
RE: Settings for MK3S?
If you mean the NOZZLE settings - those are the same for any MK3 printer. A poor UI design choice Prusa made.
RE: Settings for MK3S?
There are two drop down lists in the picture- the top one is captioned "Print Settings" and you can see that it says MK3, while the lower one captioned "Printer" has MK3S as an option.
I see that tim-m30 is correct, and the nozzle settings are the same for both.
