Sending of broken parts (Under assembly)

Hello. Please let me know because I really want to solve this problem and complete the printer. I could not attach the nut to the x-carriage-back, so I had to screw it in and the nut and screw stuck. I chatted with them about the parts (I already sent the photo of  the broken parts) and they said they are under warranty and I am waiting for the parts. I was told by the chat rep that the email from the transporter would show that it was sent. How long should I wait? It has already been 10 days, and I live in Japan , so I think the cost of sending it would be too expensive. Was the assembly determined to have been improperly performed? Should I still buy parts from the Prusa e-shop?

Ideally Prusa should have arranged the replacement for you, and ten days is a long time...
As a quicker option, I would consider asking if there is someone near you who could do the honour of printing a part for you.

the world map shows quite a few Prusa Printers in Japan.
https://world.prusa3d.com/

I have done that for people in the UK.

other options may be a local makerspace, or hackerspace. or perhaps a library. I believe some library's do 3D prints.

Thanks a lot for your answer. I don't know if it can be made of the same material as the original, but one solution is to make a copy with  a Prusa printer in my area.

A chat representative contacted me. They explained that they were late in sending the parts due to the high volume of requests. Anyway, I was relieved when the parts were sent. 😊 Thank you very much, Joan.
