Self Test Problem,
Two old farts need help. We just got the MK3S, put together and it runs good. Than got the MMU2S unit. Built and installed the MMU2S, run the self test and we can't get past a error code on the filament sensor. We are getting a "false triggering".I have unplugged the senor, checked the wiring, and it looks good. We are brand new to 3d printing. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Disconnect the MMU and discover the fun of printing without the MMU headache. Then, once the newest has worn off, and you are ready for a challenge (have some experience printing and what makes the print go bad), then hook up the MMU and begin the work to find all the flaws and not-so-robust design issues it has.

Did you rebuild the extruder with the MMU2 chimney? Filament detection is done differently between the two configurations.

Thank you Tim for all the encouraging words and help. Thank you Peter for you help. What we did wrong was we didn't calibrate the IR Sensor. Once we got that done, everything started to work. Thanks to Prusa Customer Service, they got us on the right track.
