Self Test fails
just completed assembly and powered up sadly self-test fails at HOTEND test, checked the connections as per manual but cannot identify any problem.

I had same problem and after all the checks and replacing parts it was the power panic control. Try this , unplug the power panic plug from board and rerun test.

Found the solution ! 😀 Firstly I checked the power coming out of the electronics board and sure enough it went up to 24v when the hot end heater was switched on.
Secondly tested hotend for continuity and my meter showed about 15ohms so all OK os far, After tearing the last of my hair out i examined the connector and to my surprise the contacts were not mating, I removed the connector and fitted my own crimp contacts and pushed these directly over the pins on the electronics board ....hey presto passed the test no problems.
