scale units mm/inches

I have a file (a bunch of them) and when I open it in prusa slicer in inches the object appears so small you can hardly see it. When I click on "convert to imperial units" the object gets so big it cant fit on printer. This object should be about....roughly..... 9 inchs high, 4 inchs wide and 8 inch long. I have attached file..........how do I get this thing to be what it is suppose to be?

It loads without issue here. Scale is a bit off, but switching to inches doesn't do anything obnoxious. I am seeing it as a 0.65x0.84x0.65 box that I had to rotate to put the flange down.

Generally speaking, scale issues are best fixed in CAD, not at slice. Do the unit conversion is whatever tool you are designing with, export in metric.

The other possibility is the import is working, but the autosize is getting you. Slicer doesn't like items to be imported that are larger than the bed volume and will sometime "fix" it for you.

Zip and post one of the stl files giving you grief ... the 3mf is after slicer has done its duty so makes it harder to see the conversion issues.
