quality troubleshooting

hey, im new to the prusa printer & slicer, i have been using ender 3 for a while..

i assembled the printer and the quality of the first prints disappointed me.

im aware the prusa known for its quality so im sure i havent dialed in something correctly

looking those pics, what have i missed?

in this pic, i meant to the line at the top layer that for some reason skipped

First and foremost, your Z offset is a bit high.

That looks like a loose pulley on the x-motor to me.

 

Check that you have lined up one of the grub screws with the flat on the motor shaft and tighten that first. Than tighten the other grub screw.

 

Check the pulley on the Y-motor too.

 I agree with both these gentlemen First fix your Z its way high, then check your belt tension, and then your extrusion multiplier.
