PTFE tube

Hello everyone,

I encountered a problem when trying to replace the PTFE tube located in the heatsink. It started with me not being able to get it out. When I finally managed to do so, the clip flange broke off. I left the bottom part of the clip in place and tried to insert a new tube. It turned out that it could only be inserted, but could not be removed. After completely unscrewing the heat sink, I was able to put the tube completely through to the other side. I then noticed that there were metal teeth protruding from between the parts of the clip, which blocked the tube and only allowed it to move downwards - it could not be removed. This surprises me, as I have seen on the video or in the replacement instructions that the tube can be pulled upwards quite freely. Shouldn't this piece with teeth just hold the clip and the tube should move without resistance in either direction?

Collets are intended to allow a tube to be inserted but to resist it's removal.

To remove a tube push the top of the collet down and hold it there, push the tube in a fraction to disengage it then pull it out.

As for removing the broken half collet, er, I believe they screw in.

Cheerio,
