printing a cylinder

Hello,

printing a cylinder, I have a small "seam" oder the whole length, just on one side. Is there a solution?

Thanks for help

There has to be a seam somewhere - it's where the print head changes layers.

You can move the seam in Print Settings > Layers and perimeters.

Cheerio,

You can also print Vase Mode, which removes the seam completely - but you only get 1 wall. I find random works fairly well when your printer is tuned right.

@justbql

As for Vase mode - if you need a thicker wall, you can set the external perimeter to a fairly high value, 1 mm for example, to get a thicker vase. Some even go higher, and it works. You are limited only by the volumetric flow limits of the extruder, and the fact too wide and the extrusion is wider than the nozzle face and can start piling up in front of the movement path, which complicates things.

@justbql

I tend to avoid vase mode and just allow it out myself.
