Print supports don't hold
Hello,
I'm pretty new to 3D printing, but I successfully achieved few prints already.
But I'm having troubles with prints that require supports:
After few layers (1 or 2cm) the PLA stop sticking on the support and it became broken.
I've tried few PLAs, with the same result.
Do I have a calibration issue somewhere?
Thanks for your help,
Re: Print supports don't hold
can you post the model? having a hard time visualizing exactly whats supposed to go on that part of the support.

Re: Print supports don't hold
Try using a another support pattern , maybe rectlinear grid.
Slic3r :
Print Settings
Support Material
Options for support ...

Re: Print supports don't hold
Thanks
Rectlinear grid seems to do the trick.
But now I have another (but related) problem, the PLA doesn't seems to stick to the support.
Re: Print supports don't hold
Play with the "contact z distance" (same Tab as shown before).
