Print moves to new bed location half way through printing
I've searched but can't find anything that matches.... My print of "buddy" from the Prusa provided file "crashed." Then randomly moved to the far right of the bed to continue the print. I had a file crash previously (the frog), but it picked right back up where it was supposed to.
Not sure what/where to troubleshoot.

are you using the latest firmware? (if not this issue may already have been fixed... )
make sure that your axis moves freely and smoothly in both directions.
if necessary Lube your smooth rods with a little light oil.
check your belt tension
try again,
if all else fails, turn crash detection off, if the printer now runs OK. use it for a few peints and then try again with crash detection on again,
it may simply need bedding in for a short while.
