Print blobs
Hello Prusa family. I had been using my MK3S for about a year or so and then I didn't have anything to print so it sat turned off for several months. I have been experiencing print issues ever since. I have calibrated XYZ multiple times, I replaced my nozzle, which made some improvement, but now I am getting random blobs of material even though the print is secure on the bed. I am at a loss as to what to do. I feel like I have a very good print height, but am wondering, could it be just a little low and cause this? In the images I am showing the bottom of the print to show the first layer looks fine. As it starts to print up, a blob forms and I get a mess. I did update to the latest firmware by the way. Would appreciate any advice you could give.
There are a bunch of minor problems that can buil up if a printer is unused for a while.
The three common reasons for prints suddenly failing after a printer has been unused:
A dirty print bed. Give it a really thorough clean and avoid touching the print area.
Damp filament. Look up threads here about drying filament especially if it has been left open.
General neglect, dust and cobwebs... Basic cleaning, lubrication and general maintenance have all been missed.

Thanks for the tips. I actually started a long print and watched very closely to see what was going on and ended up finding the issue. There is a crack in my hotend and it is oozing filament out. It takes a while for the filament to build up and then drip, and that's what is ruining the prints. I am in the process of replacing the hotend now.
A crack? or it it a misplaced nozzle?

My nozzle is fine and all of the filament was oozing from just under the heat sink and above the body. It's definitely a crack or something of that nature.

the most common issue of this nature is caused during nozzle changing or maintenance, where a gap develops between the top of the nozzle and the bottoM of the heatbreak,
CAUSING THE MOLTEN FILAMENT TO LEAK THROUGH THE GAP!
