Pre / Post Enclosure Prints PETG - just a showcase no problems
In case anyone was thinking does the enclosure really help? I can say yes, it helps with any minor thermal drift you might have due to space and location. I noticed my first prints had a slight tendency on the left side to pull away from the bed even with good first layer calibration. My printer was positioned with the back and the right next to a wall (within 10") and the left and front were open to full room. I did the tree frog in pre and post enclosure to show if there was any noticeable difference.
I notice the post enclosure the frog in PETG is more shiny.. It's slightly less stringy (though PETG is rather stringy). But mainly the left front foot brim stayed on the bed and without the enclosure the brim was just starting to pop up a little. Overall I am happy with the enclosure; I purchased but haven't installed the air filtration add-on and I am looking forward to that as my printer is in the same area as my workout gear. Nobody wants to smell plastic while exercising...
