Nozzle oozing before printing
Hi, I am wondering if there is a possibility to stop my filament from oozing out of the nozzle while pre-heating. I had this issue with my anycubic and was used to removing the drops with tweezers but as I am a proud owner of a mk3s+ now I wonder if this is somehow solvable. Thanks for your tips!
Pull off a string and feel it. If it is bubbly or rough your filament is damp. If smooth come back here.

Hello Diem, thank you for your feedback! I just tried what you told me. The filament feels fine. I store it in ziplock bags with loads of silica gel bags.

I've never had any significant oozing problem with PLA and ABS, but PETg is definitely more oozy and I'm in the habit of brushing off the nozzle area with a cheap wire brush before each PETg print.
Whch filament are you printing?

I have a similar problem that I did not have when my Prusa MK3s+ was new. After about 250 hours of printing with Hatchbox Matte PLA without issue all of the sudden during preheating PLA will drip from the nozzle about 50mm and all the way down to the bed. I usually have to sit there and right as its about to start I remove the dripped filament. Sometimes its so bad it leaves little poops on the bed during the leveling that I have to remove with a printed scraper to avoid touching the bed with my fingers.
It happens with brand new rolls of filament straight out of the sealed package and there is no popping sounds so I doubt its moisture related.
I would love to know if anyone else has solved this issue.
