New Printer. Won't extrude
Newly assembled MK3S.
Loaded filament during the setup wizard, and the filament extrudes correctly. The machine moves on to the z-height adjustment and doesn't extrude. The calibration times out. I start the wizard over again. When it asks if filament is loaded, I select no and it extrudes correctly. I raised the drive gear pressure to see if that was the issue. When the z-height adjustment steps starts again, nothing extrudes... 😐
TL;DR
The extruder extrudes during the load sequence but not when calibrating.

So, it's fixed. I ejected the filament, re-inserted it, manually fed the extruder from the menu, and it worked.
Magic.

Keep your filament sensor turned off until you have time to check it out.
Not needed for actually printing.
