New nozzle and heater block causing issues--What should I search for?
Hello,
I had problems printing the parts for my MMU2->3 upgrade and ended up figuring out that my original nozzle was no longer 0.4 mm. It was more like 0.5 or 0.6mm. So I decided to replace it. As I took it out I noticed that the thermistor's wires were on their last legs, so I decided to pick up a new thermistor as well. But the thermistor was fused to the heater block, so I had to get a new heater block.
So now I have my hot end composed of the original parts from the heat break up, the heater I replaced years ago, and a new heat block, thermistor and nozzle.
I've been through a complete calibration, including the thermistor calibration, and for the most part everything is OK. But I do have one problem. The prints are much more easy to break along the layer lines. It's like the adhesion between the layers is not as strong as it used to be.
My problem is that no matter how I search, I can't find any information on this. If I search for layer adhesion everything comes up with first layer adhesion. If I search for layer delamination, I come up with things like ABS warping between layers and the layers partially pulling apart while printing.
So, if anyone can help me, not by troubleshooting my problem, but by figuring out what I should be searching on/for before asking for help, I'd really appreciate it.
(I know there are a lot of really smart people here who can help me fix this, and it may come to that, but I've been around long enough to know that I need to RTFM first and ask questions later!)
Thanks in advance!
