New i3Mk3S+ missing parts
Got my i3Mk3S+ today and was super excited to build until I got to the part where the bearing clips go on the plate. No bearing clips packed in the kit.
The kit looked so meticulously packed but it wasn't. Such a let down.
I wonder what else is missing? At this point I kind of feel Prusa should send me a built one and I send back the kit. What happens when I get 10 more steps and find out something else is missing?
I have an Mk2S and that kit was complete.

RE: New i3Mk3S+ missing parts
This was mentioned and explained in the announcement video. The reason is that if you are upgrading, you most likely already have your bed mounted and it's working reliably. Removing everything and installing these bearing retainers is not really going to radically change anything and if people overtightened, can actually make things worse. They're not really required, per Prusa.

@cwbullet
I did. I emailed them as well. Oh how disturbing it is to spend that kind of money and wait and then just a few steps into the build discover that parts are missing and that it will take another week or so to get them from overseas.
RE: New i3Mk3S+ missing parts
Are you also missing the u-bolts? I'm curious whether you are completely missing the required mounting or whether you just got an older pack-out that still has the bolts instead of the new clips.

No U-bolts either. The kit packaging shows clips in the Y axis stuff. I checked every other package and searched all the boxes......the mounting hardware is just plain old missing.

I'm not upgrading my Mk2S. This is a complete kit and separate build. Didn't they used to just zip tie them? I have a Rep-Rap I built that has zip tied bearings on the plate.

@hagensieker
On many of them, yes. Zip ties are nto a bad way to go.
