Need help! Just assembled MK3 kit prints are not good

Hey guys,

Need some help. Assembled MK3 kit passed all the steps in the wizard and then all of my prints have these weird shifts in them starting on the first layer. Sometimes the outer lines move in on each other, and the middle has small shifts for a few passes, fixes itself and then does it again. Any help would be most appreciated. Belts are both in the 270 range.

Hi Jeffrey

can you check that your X and Y motor pully grub screws are tightened against the centre of the FLAT area of the motor spindle

As Joan has said, confirm that everything is aligned where it should be with respect to the axis, also check that the screws are appropriately tight. It seems like one of the axis is slipping then re catching.

Joan and Craig,
Thank you for the reply’s. I checked the y axis pulley and the grub screws were not tightened correctly and it was possibly misaligned with the flat part. Thank you guys so much for the help. I was getting frustrated!

Don't forget to upload a picture of your print after your fix!
