MK3S+ firmware crash

Hello, world. Noob here with noob question.

I finished building the MK3S+ kit a couple weeks ago. No issues with the assembly. However, I've had issues since my first attempt at power up and self test. Wondering if anybody has any ideas about this firmware crash and bootloop. I've been on the line with Prusa support. But I thought I might find some luck here on the forums too.

It started off with the self test failing and going into a boot loop.

I tried a firmware upgrade.

This seemed to work until exit message on LCD, "XYZ calibration failed. Bed calibration point was not found." Then it goes into this firmware crash boot loop.

I recently tried to do a memory dump with pronsole. I can connect to the printer, but it keeps messaging "waiting for user" every second or so. Any commands I issue, it says it can't parse the command.

Thank you.

After quite a bit of back and forth trouble shooting with the good folks at tech support, they sent me a new einsy board. Got it replaced, and now the printer is up and running up and running.

Thanks for the feedback. This too can happen with a new printer.

happy printing!
