MK3 - Y-Axis Left Rod Showing Black Grease Buildup; Should I Be Worried?
I recently started noticing that my left smooth rod is showing some black grease buildup. This is easily wiped away if it gets out of hand, but I don't want to potentially damage anything by removing the grease. The attached image shows this buildup compared to the right smooth rod.
I suppose my question is this: If left undisturbed, will this negatively impact the lifespan of that smooth rod and/or the bearings?

Nope, in the user manual, just wipe it off.
