RE: Missing parts in assembly

Step 16 and step 61. There should be an M3x10 screw and an M3nS nut. It may be that nobody noticed during assembly that the nut had fallen out.
RE: Missing parts in assembly
Thanks. Looking more closely, two screws are missing, but so are the middle and lower nuts. Frustrated that I paid for an assembled printer and now I have to tear the extruder apart to fix it and have not even run a first print. Will not opt for the assembled printer again. Should have gone with my my first instinct and bought the kit. Note to PRUSA, improve the QA check. Oh, and include spare black wire ties; have to cut them off now and go out buy replacements. Sorry if I sound upset. Took nearly three months to get it and not able to use it out of the box.
RE: Missing parts in assembly
Obviously a fairly serious QA issue.
If it were me, I would most definitely let Prusa know about it and know that I was not happy with it.
I know that they are rushed and really trying to crank out printers as fast as they can, but this should have been caught with even a cursory visual inspection.
RE: Missing parts in assembly
I did. After I cooled down, I took a slow approach to it. Did not want to mess anything up. Took some time, but was able to slide the bottom bearing out without removing the wire ties holding the cabling. That gave me enough room to slip in the bottom nut. The middle one was easier. Got it back together and calibrated. Have now run two prints without issue.
Overall, I am very happy with the MK3S so far.
