Nice work on this list. I'm quite disappointed with my regular hardware standby here in the states (McMaster) as the smallest metric square nuts that I can find in their online catalog are M4.

another sometimes overlooked issue is that there are English and American M3 square nuts, the English ones are full size and the Americans are a bit smaller, like the Imperial and US gallon... Lol....

they're not actually called English and American, more like standard and thin square nuts... Prusa have settled on the thin nuts for their printers, which can be a surprise if you buy Standard square nuts
