M3n nut stuck Z-axis steps 5&6
So I was building my MK3 based on the manual found in the box and I got as far as steps 5 & 6 on the Z axis with minimal issues. Now I'm trying to get the M3n nuts in place to attach the trapezoid nuts, but I ended up getting the nuts stuck in the X-axis parts. The nuts aren't far enough in to catch the screw, but they're in far enough that I can't just pull them out with the pliers. I'm hoping someone might have some advice for getting these things out and how to get them in properly.

I took a picture of the nuts I'm talking about. The picture shows the nut on the motor side of the X-axis, but the same nut on the other side is also stuck.

I had the same problem two or three times. I was lucky in that I decided to buy a set of four picks from my local hardware store HD... The point did go in and pull the nut out.
Those nuts have to go in flat side in first "look in the hole after you remove the nut for orientation". Us needle nose to insert the nut as far as you can. I found that it wouldn't go in all the way without some force. It will click in like there is a ledge, but it will go in.
You can also use the straight pick through the screw hole to pull the nut in place, then push harder.

This has caused myself and a LOT of others much frustration. PRUSA, you need a redesign how the nut is captured. I’d suggest that square nuts would be better than hexagon nuts in this case, to allow more clearance without compromising the function.

I had that same thought when I reached that step. I spent like 10 minutes staring at the parts making sure they did actually mean the hex nut. That spot seems way too tight for a hex nut.

When assembling mine I used a pair of needle nose pliers, with one prong outside the part and the other prong against the edge of the nut, to press fit them in. Mine were initially stuck in about the same place as yours appear to be, in the photo.

The picks definitely helped thank you for the suggestion. I still can't get this stupid nut to sit in the stupid slot though.

Look in the pocket to make sure I remember it correctly. I think the flat side should go against the back wall and not the corner of the nut. Like I said I had to hold it with a pair of small thin needle nose, push it in at the proper angle. Need a flat edge to push it straight back.
NOTE: I think I had one pocket where I had to clear some debris before inserting the nut.

I did use a pick to dig around in the pocket and used some canned air to try and clear it. I'm going to try again later today and see if I can get the flat end to stay facing outward. When I shined a light into the screw hole the nut seemed like it was almost there so I'll try pressing down on the nut to see if that will work. If I can't get it tonight I'm going to contact support to try and fix this issue. I'm really hoping I get screw to work I really don't want to have to try and get those bearings and rods out of the X axis parts.

Yes, this was the hard part.I think I put a note to have this put in before you add the bars and everything else. Once you get it partially in use the flat side of the pliers to push it the rest of the way.
I think once it was part way in i used the pick to hold it in and pushed from outside.
