Lower quality of filament supplied with the printer?
I have a new MK3S+ from november. I'm really happy with it and ordered from scratch a few PLA colors from Prusa.
Today I gave a try to the silver PLA supplied with the printer. I had almost immediately issues with unwinding because the roll is a mess. It's night and day compared to the perfect winding of the prusaments. Also, the spool is of a different design, it doesn't have the honeycomb structure.
Is the PLA roll provided with the printer always a cheap one or did I have bad luck?

It is from different manufacturer. Prusa produce only those called Prusament. The rest of offered filaments including the one shipped with printer are different manufactures. But on the opposite side I use it quite often. No issues. The winding has no impact on print. Just you need to carefully hold the end. If you loose it, you can get a knot.
