LCD all black squares
Finished building the MK#3 kit. When I power on all I get is all black squares. I searched and saw back in 2015 someone had a cable problem so I did a pin for pin test and my cables are good. Double check my wiring and all is correct. Where do I start troubleshooting?

Good news. It may be written somewhere and I missed it but a power-cycle is not the same as a reset. I pressed the reset button on the top of the board and the LCD came alive. Moving on to calibration now.
