layer shifts and Infill underextrusion?

New MK3,
build went fine, calibration fine.
Did some first prints that were very nice.
Now, two days later, when printing with prusa orange PETG, the infill gets all stringy and blocks correct printing.
It seems like underextrusion to me but that is strange: new nozzle, new printer, standard MK3, standard Prusa PETG filament.
Slic3rPE MK3-edition, standard settings.

Also, I experienced layer shifting (as well in PLA and in PETG.
Checked belt tension and that is fine, even aftraid to put too much tension.
(Am new at prusa but previous printer A8, so experienced with tuning belts, ...tinkering, ...)

what can be the issue?

any thoughts.

in the mean while, I might want to try if this also occurs when using PrusaControl.

same results when using Prusacontrol.

Addendum: when i print the same gcode-file (produced with standard MK3 and PET-settings on PrusaControl) on my A8 I get a perfect print, except for a lot of stringing which is easely removed after.

Printed a benchy on the MK3, standard gcode-file found on the Prusa-SD-card: very nice print but layer-shifting.

Did all the calibrationprocedures twice.

Here is the help article for layers shifting troubleshooting. I suspect one of your belts is not tensioned correctly.

I'm sorry but as I stated higher I have checked the belts multiple times and that seems not te be the problem, strangly enough.
I do have experience about belt-tension as I tuned my A8.

At this moment, except for strining, my low-cost A8, produces much better prints then my expensive MK3, using THE SAME gcode-file, made in PrusaControl?!

I know what you said. However, you have not provided any details, so I tried to point you to the Prusa help for layer shifting. Did you look at the link?

Have you looked at the belt tension values or are you just subjectively determining your tension by "feel"? What are the belt tension values? It's the most common cause for layer shifting, so it is usually the first place to look. Good luck.

RE: layer shifts and Infill underextrusion?

Hey guys

What do you think this is? Getting pretty frustrated. Before this the filament jammed 2x somehow. But I was able to pull it out with moderate force. Oh and it's PLA and it wasn't soft, melted around the rollers / gears.
