Layer shifting! Prebuilt came in 24 hrs ago
Hello,
I was very excited when i got my MK3.
I order it prebuilt specifically so i don't have to fiddle with it. It was supposed to be plug and play.
But, after about 10 hours of printing, layer shifting started.
See the picttures.
Lower part printed perfectly, and then it started
Any help/tips would be much appreciated.
P.S: Yes, i've done factory reset, fw upgrade and recalibration about 20 times by now

is that allot of retractions? around 10 things can be doing that. but I would almost suspect the PTFE tube got loose/ belts loose/ screws loose. that's pla right?
my money is on screws coming loose
I have a Prusa,therefore I research.

Yeah, good old PLA.
Belts are fine as far asmi can tell, will try to tighten any visible screws

You were correct. The printed part that is mounted on the frame with 2 bolts in front,that holds the gear used for X belt was loose.
At first glance, belt was tight, but the space between it and the frame caused the whole setup to move by a mm at a time.
Tightening it did the trick. 7/15 hours into the print and looks good. keep your fingers crossed
