KIT first time calibration X-axis failure

Hi folks, I just finished building the printer.  I get the error of axis length during initial calibration.  The extruder traverses the axis the correct number of times, and my belt tension is 244.  This appears to be in range, but I still fail the test.  Should I take the back of of the extruder  and try to add 1 or 2 teeth to the belt length?  Is this something that suggested 'small adjustments' should fix, or do I need to make 'large adjustments'?  Thanks for any help I can get!

The first thing I would do is to check to see if the extruder can move the full length of the x-axis and nothing is hitting the frame stopping it before the end of the axis.

If not positioned correctly, the heads on the tie-wraps can hit the frame, stopping the extruder from traveling the full length of the X axis.

Belt tension - use the belt tension tool once you can print it

No, don't loosen your belt.  It should "thrum" when you pluck it.  Then read this forum for this same problem - happens over and over.

I had 1 zip tie just long enough to hit the frame, i gave it a trim, and am currently onto XYZ calibration!  Thanks everyone! 🍻
