I3 Mk3s+ kit massive stringing issues

Hello, I recently completed my I3mk3s+ kit and have been printing for a bit, but I cannot figure out how to get rid of this terrible stringing. Is this normal? I was hoping the Prusa wouldn't have this issue but I don't know what's wrong. I have had to tighten the tensioner on the bondtech gears more than it suggested as it was pushing out the door when filament was loaded and skipping steps. Included are the parameters I used, any ideas? Thanks.

Although you don't mention what type of filament you are using here it looks like a classical wet filament problem. Some filaments are more prone to it than others. If you think your machine is in top shape this could be the problem.

Oh right, it is the standard silver that came with the printer, mostly fresh out of the package.

Sometimes bone dry filament can become wet enough during a long print to be stringing by the end...

PLA usually takes two or three days at humid times of year.

Look up threads about drying.

Cheerio,

Ah. ok, I will. I didn't even think it could have been the filament.
